Orion Pictures needed to pivot marketing plans during the pandemic, so The Syn was entrusted with coming up with digital press-worthy ideas to promote the newest film in the iconic Bill & Ted series to existing and new fans. They were looking for out-of-the-box plans that could be executed in a short time to promote a movie like never before.
We organized a mass Zoom call (during a worldwide outage) with Bill & Ted fans from over 20 countries ready to break the Guinness World Record for "Most People Playing Air Guitar Online Simultaneously". The Syn partnered with professional air-guitarists to create a routine and promo video for the attempt.
