Radio Promotion Intern

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Syndicate is currently seeking interns who are passionate, driven, and eager to be a part of our award-winning radio department! We're looking for students who are ready to step into our fast-paced environment and help us perform at the highest level. Those selected for this program will work collaboratively with our college, alternative, non-comm, and loud rock promotion staff. From listening to new releases and contributing to our weekly newsletters, to running statistics and building out final reports for our clients, our interns are an integral part of our team!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: ­

• Someone who lives and breathes a passion for music
• General knowledge of radio charts & radio formats
• Comfortable learning new databases and digital platforms; previous use of Squarespace & DISCO is a plus
• A passion for radio, attending live concerts, and artist development is paramount
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• A self-motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn
• Ability to multi-task and take direction in a fast-paced environment

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY:

• Must be enrolled in a matriculated program, in pursuit of a degree at an accredited institution
• Must be able to earn college credit
• Must be able to commit to working remotely, on a hybrid schedule, or in-office from 10am-6pm, 2-5 days per week (exceptions offered on a case-by-case basis due to class schedules)
