WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Syndicate seeks an energetic and extremely motivated student to join our PR team. The Public Relations intern will work directly alongside Publicity Directors and Coordinators in the execution of music, comedy, and lifestyle campaigns. Public Relations interns will strategize and collaborate with our in-house PR team to provide clients with digital and print visibility. Our ideal candidate is a team player that brings fresh perspectives to the table, has excellent written and verbal skills, as well as the ability to prioritize while multitasking.
Applicants should be very detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. This individual must have a strong passion for entertainment and pop culture (music in particular).
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Someone who lives and breathes passion for music, comedy, entertainment, lifestyle trends, and pop-culture
- Someone who has a finger on the pulse of current social media platforms and trends (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, & Twitter)
- Ability to professionally communicate with clients, journalists, and other industry professionals
- Knowledge of entertainment and lifestyle media; print, online, broadcast, and influencers
- Working knowledge of trends and standards within social media
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- A self-motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn
- Superior attention to detail and capable of working on multiple design projects at a given time
- Ability to multi-task and take direction in a fast-paced environment
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be enrolled in a matriculated program, in pursuit of a degree at an accredited institution
- Must be able to earn college credit
- Must be able to commit to working remotely, on a hybrid schedule, or in-office from 10am-6pm, 2-5 days per week (exceptions offered on a case-by-case basis due to class schedules)
